John Sinclair is a development practitioner with an extensive career
with CIDA and the World Bank, working mainly on Africa and Asia,
including field postings in Sri Lanka and Egypt. Now retired he is an
international development consultant, a journalist, a Senior Fellow at
Ottawa University’s School of international Development and a NSI
Research Associate. Born in the UK, with an MA from Cambridge
University, he also worked for the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU)
and the UK's aid agency.
